Easy Stir Fry Cabbage Recipe

Ever wondered what to make with leftover cabbages? You have stepped into the right place! This would be a simple and flavourful recipe for dinner, I personally prefer.

So, let’s jump into the ingredients list first!

For this recipe, all you need is an Oyster Sauce (which is our Hero Ingredient for this recipe), Salt & Pepper.

Ingredient List:

Savoy Cabbage/Green Cabbage – 1

Oyster Sauce

Salt

Pepper

Preparation Time: 15 mins                            Serves: 3 to 4

Alright, time to prepare them!

  • Make sure to wash your cabbage first.
  • Pick up your cutting board, place the cabbage then slice them from the middle.
  • After that you got two equal halves. Take the first piece and slice them in long sizes like shown below. Do the same cutting for the second one.

Now take a clean bowl, place all the slices into the bowl filled with water. Make sure the water is slightly cold. Tip: (It will make the slices crunchy). Soak them for about 5 minutes.

  • Meanwhile you can take a stainless-steel Wok, wash and place it on the stove.
  • Turn on the heat and pour some cooking oil. Now it’s time to cook!

COOKING TIME

Alright amigos, let’s get started on the final section.

  • So now you had soaked the slices completely, now remove the water and keep the slices separately and give it a touch with the tissue paper before putting them inside the Wok.
  • Now we put all the slices inside the Wok. Make sure that you keep it on medium flame. Give it a stir for about 30 seconds to 1 minute till we see the cabbages getting soften lightly.

At this time, you can add salt as per taste but don’t put too much because Oyster sauce contains salt too, so you need to give it a right balance. Sprinkle some pepper if you would love to.

Time to add our Hero Ingredient (Oyster Sauce)

Here, I am using Pantai’s Oyster Sauce. I like them because they have the right balance of sweetness which adds good amount of taste for my taste buds. I also make my Pak choi with this one.

There we go, now we put 2-4 tbsp of Oyster Sauce around the cabbages and Finally, mix it all together. Keep it simmer for a few minutes if you want to and turn off the heat.

I want to thank everyone who have made it till here. This is my first blog and I want you to share your ideas or tips in the Comment section. Love you all, Thanks!
